IMAKO MEDIA S.A. in its most recent plans for the growth of the company for the period 2006-2008, included the establishment of publishing activity abroad.

In 2006, Imako, in cooperation with Turkish publisher VATAN DEGI GRUBU A.S., founded a new company in Turkey under the trading name VATAN-IMAKO. The goal of the new company is to publish international titles in Turkey’s internal Media market. Fifty percent if VATAN-IMAKO belongs to IMAKO MEDIA S.A. and 50% to VATAN DEGI GRUBU A.A.

The first international title that was published in Turkey in May of 2006, in cooperation with TIME INC., was IN STYLE.

In September 2007, VATAN-IMAKO published the FORTUNE magazine in cooperation with TIME INC.

Moreover, IMAKO MEDIA S.A. and ATTIKES EKDOSEIS S.A. established in 2007 a joint participation company, its first goal being the publication of IN STYLE and OK! magazines. The joint participation company trading under the name ATTICA IMAKO MEDIA S.R.L., belongs by a 50% share to IMAKO MEDIA S.A. and 50% to ATTIKES EKDOSEIS S.A.

The newly founded company has acquired the publication rights of IN STYLE magazine in Romania in cooperation with TIME INC. The international monthly women’s magazine launched in April 2008.

Moreover, ATTICA IMAKO MEDIA S.R.L. has acquired the option for the publication of the international weekly OK! Magazine, in cooperation with NORTHERN SHELL PLC.
